Spare Parts : Internal Sales, Johannesburg - Ref : 1173003Our client currently has an opportunity for a Sales Representative to be directly accountable for a targeted sales territory with the responsibility to develop, service and maintain new and existing accounts for the companys existing product line of new and used trailers as well as other products offered by the company within the trucking industry.
Also responsible for assisting customers in a professional, prompt and ethical manner and to sell and promote the companys products effectively.
The successful incumbent will have 3-5 years sales experience in the transport / manufacturing industry together with trailer experience and be computer literate in MS Office, Outlook and Syspro.
Position details : To effectively expedite e-mail, fax and telephonic orders.To handle telephonic queries, quotations and sales orders.
To handle counter sales and print notice to Pick for Dispatch department.Follow-up on back orders when parts are not available immediately and communicate delivery dates to customers.
Syspro sales order maintenance, ensuring only valid orders are actual in the system.
Processing and checking of orders and following up with order acknowledgement.To do invoicing, customer service orders and process back orders when required as a back-up to Invoicing Clerk.

Matric.3 - 5 years sales experience in Transport / Manufacturing industry.Previous trailer experience.Good understanding of sales administration.
