On the Dot, a subsidiary of Media24, currently requires the services of an Assistant Manager : Administration.We seek to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to assume responsibility as an Assistant Manager : Administration, reporting to the DC / Bulk Manager.
The position will be based in .Main purpose of the role : To assist the operations manager with day to day management and execution of the branch administration, including responsibility for OH&S, elements of logistics and customer service.
Monitor, manage and review outsourced business partner SLA, policies and procedures, suggest necessary operational decisions to operations managerKey responsibilities : The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the roleIn conjunction with the branch manager, maximise the efficiency and productivity levels of the service providers in terms of all aspects of the branch-s administration, continuously seeking to optimise processes and find value-add opportunities for the branch by sound engagement and relationship with service providers;
In conjunction with the branch manager, ensure that the service providers meet all administrative requirements as specified in standard operating procedures;
In conjunction with the branch manager, ensure achievement of budgeted and agreed financial performance of the branch by focusing on core business drivers;
be responsible for certain elements of financial control;Build effective, value adding, transparent relationships with all stakeholders customers, suppliers, outsourced service providers, functional outsource specialists and employees through regular communication, reporting and personal interaction;
Ensure effective Customer Relations Management in the branch, making recommendations as to where changes can be made to continually improve customer service;
address any escalated or long-standing problems;Identify and make recommendations about opportunities with customers and clients;
Manage compliance with Service Level Agreements, including compliance by service providers, alerting the operations- and assistant distribution manager to instances of non-compliance with regards to distribution documentation;
Contribute to the effective management of company assets and minimize loss through adherence to all relevant company Standard Operating Procedures;
In conjunction with the branch manager, plan for, select, develop and retain suitable staff for the branch, and develop and maintain a high-performance team;
Embed and sustain the organization's culture and values in the branch;Monitor compliance with management controls, good governance practices, policies and procedures and all relevant legal and statutory requirements, escalating non-compliance to the branch- and assistant branch manager where required;
Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity and communicate this to relevant departments in the company.
