A full-time qualified and experienced Strategic Project Manager is required on a contract basis for 12 months. The position is based in the Pretoria Central area.

The main purpose of this position is to lead and manage procurement transformation initiatives, group procurement strategic projects and Management Information Systems (MIS) within the Procurement Manage the sourcing of major strategic projects in accordance with the Procurement Policy and relevant guidelines, ensuring good governance.

  • To lead and manage the development of MIS, data analytics, technology and systems processes To co-ordinate and drive long-range strategic initiatives including but not limited to BBBEE strategies and group wide procurement synergies etc;
  • and link these to the Bank-wide vision and growth plan. To collaborate with other clusters within FSD to develop and implement an integrated budgeting system that leverages on Procurement MIS data for budget forecasting and tracking.

    To manage and enhance relationships between the section and relevant internal and external stakeholders. To lead the analysis and integration of management information relating to the division and group for reporting purposes.

    To manage risks and compliance related to the section. To continuously monitor processes and the performance of the section in order to formulate and implement strategies to ensure continuous improvement To manage the performance and development of staff in the section, provide coaching and guidance as well as motivate the team to deliver results.

    To keep abreast of developments in procurement and technology as well as propose improvements to methods and practices in procurement Education A minimum of a Post Graduate degree in Commerce / Supply Chain Management.

    A MBA, CA or CIMA or equivalent will be an added advantage Job related Knowledge and Skills Procurement Supply chain management Administration processes and systems Relevant policies and legislation and accounting Corporate Governance Project management BBBEE Leading Change Establishing Focus and being results driven Developing and growing others Effective Communication Building and Maintaining Relationships Impact and Influence Negotiating Interpersonal Sensitivity Service and Stakeholder Focus Analysing and problem solving Planning and organising Judgement and Decision making Strategic and conceptual thinking Manages Complexity and Ambiguity Job related experience A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Strategy Environment.

    B-BBEE and Management experience are requirements for this position
