Reports to : Head of Sales Department
Primary purpose : Client liaison, assess enquiry documents, calculate cost estimates and present good quality tenders to ensure that business opportunities are maximised in conjunction with the Sales Director and QMS.
Job description / core competencies :
Includes, but not limited to :
Ø Product sales across the current (and future) product range.
Ø New market development in collaboration with the sales team.
Ø Maintaining sales forecast and resource planning data.
Ø Client liaison and management.
Ø Preparation and submission of equipment proposals and tenders.
Ø Cost estimates based on factoring historical data for budget proposals and sub-supplier tenders for fixed and firm tenders.
Ø Prepare enquiry documents to suppliers and technically and commercially evaluate sub supplier tenders.
Ø Attend sales related site inspections.
Ø Clarify all discrepancies with the client.
Ø Follow-up tenders to conclusion.
Ø Record tender feedback on network.
Ø Support co-ordination and assistance with company marketing and sales related efforts.
Ø Compile test work reports, process flowsheets and P&IDÂ’s
Ø Equipment sizing and selection.
Ø Reporting and sales prospects.
Ø Assist with equipment commissioning and optimization.
Ø Equipment and company presentations to clients.
Ø Directing laboratory and pilot plant test work.
Ø Handover documentation preparation and presentation to the contracts department.
