Analytics Specialist : Customer Engagement
A demanding and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Customer Engagement team within TFG Group Analytics. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to provide analytical solutions that will improve direct marketing campaigns of our TFG brands as well as the TFG Rewards & More program.
The development, deployment and maintenance of a suite of response, propensity and segmentation models to improve customer targeting capability across multiple brands and channels.
Ensuring appropriate statistical methodology and data mining / analytical techniques are applied to modeling process to deliver and deploy robust and effective models.
Contribute to optimization framework and design in order to improve relevance and personalization of campaigns.
Working closely with brand marketing managers and campaign builders in the campaign design process to ensure ongoing improvement in campaign selections.
Deliver insights to brand managers related to model performance and drivers of predictive behavior as input into campaign strategy.
Model tracking to ensure effective model life cycle management and recommendations for redevelopment.
Effective communication and presentation of analytical results to different stakeholders.
Documentation of analytical processes and results, adhering to agreed documentation standards.
Improvement of the analytical assets (DB’s and features) to ensure accuracy of models and segmentations.
Contribute to the development of analytical systems that automate and streamline analytical processes.
To take up this challenging position you should have :
A B degree in a numerate discipline, preferably Statistics / Mathematics / Operations Research (honours / master’s degree preferable).
Knowledge and experience in statistical software packages. Mainly SAS Base, E Guide, Enterprise Miner. But proficiency in any packages would be considered such as Python or R.
Experience in developing and implementing constraint based mathematical optimisation problems in SAS or other statistical packages
Experience in predictive modeling or scorecard development, as well as feature engineering. Experience in rapid model building (machine learning) techniques would be advantageous.
Experience with data mining and statistical techniques such as logistic regression, decision trees, cluster analysis etc .
Experience in the Fashion Retail sector would be advantageous.
Knowledge of the direct marketing and / or loyalty & rewards industries would be advantageous.
Knowledge of online data and how campaigns / marketing are influenced by analytics within an online environment would be advantageous.
Hands-on experience of large-scale customer database data interrogation and manipulation (SQL).

Working as a Customer Engagement analytical specialist you will have strong communication skills, be commercially aware and be a good team player.
You will also need to be numerate with a strong commitment to the improvement of customer strategy.
