Sanlam Private Wealth is a Private Client business focused on crafting private client portfolios for discerning clients. The business has a wide range of services and products that combine to deliver a world-class value proposition to clients and business partners.
The business has over 50 client facing portfolio managers across 8 branches country wide working with both direct and intermediated clients.
The intermediary distribution channel is a key strategic channel for the business and covers both Sanlam tied agents as well as external independent and tied agency channels.
Sanlam Private Wealth is in the process of recruiting for a senior distribution support role that will be focused on co-ordinating and driving the sales strategy across the various branches.
The person will need to work closely with the Head of Product and Strategy and play a key linking role between the corporate office and the branches.
Key outcomes : To assist the Head of Product and Strategy with the implementation and execution of a co-ordinated sales strategy across the country via the regional branches.
The role will require the candidate to work closely with the various Sanlam Private Wealth branches, client facing portfolio managers, the investment team and marketing team in delivering a best in class intermediary value proposition.
The candidate will need to have strong relationship building skills with a keen knowledge of the investment markets and financial services industry.
A prerequisite will be an in-depth understanding of how a financial product and service provider fits into the value proposition of an intermediary.
The candidate will need to work closely with the other Sanlam businesses to understand the overall distribution footprint of Sanlam and how to optimise the positioning of the Sanlam Private Wealth value proposition in the various distribution channels and platforms. What will you do?
