A specialized fence manufacturing company based in Sandton is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team. Qualification Matric / Grade 12 Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA (essential) BComm (Honours) in Financial / Management Accounting (with articles, TOPP articles an advantage) Requirements Advanced MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint Working knowledge of SAP (essential) ERP PRODUCTION, CRM, BPC and EWM (S / 4HANA training certificate an advantage) Highly numerate and able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports which can be understood by non-financial colleagues Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial manager role Experience in drafting annual financial statements VAT, Income Tax and Customs knowledge in accordance with current South African regulations Duties Financial Accounting : Recommending and managing an organised flow, accurate recording and storage management of financial data and documentation, for the benefit of all the company stakeholders Financial Reporting : Providing accurate, timeous and relevant financial information for internal purposes for use by the CEO and the Board of Directors in order to make informed decisions or to be communicated to external parties such as shareholders, investors, banks or financing / lending institutions Budgeting and Planning Compliance : Keeping abreast with accounting principles.

Ensuring compliance with South African laws, codes and guidelines pertaining to financial governance, taxes, foreign exchange transactions, financial reporting, credit, payroll and other areas that have financial consequences for the entity Internal Controls : Recommending and implementing internal policies and control procedures Organisational Management : Recommending an effective financial management organogram and building the capacity of the finance team Staff Management : Subsequently guiding and overseeing the day to day activities and duties of the finance department and ensure effective use and deployment of staff and financial resources Change Management : Lead change and support all strategic change initiatives and challenges arising in the department Risk Management : Closely monitoring and mitigating financial risks and compliance risks Information Technology : Ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting system - SAP ERP Production, CRM, BPC and EWM (S / 4HANA training certificate an advantage)
