  • Engineering / architectural / power genaration / petrol chemical sales experience (advantages).

  • Quoting & Estimating on enquiries and drawings received from customers;
  • Confirmation quotations to be sent to customer if and when required;
  • Updating quotes in our area systematically;
  • Following up of all quotes generated and / or providing reasons should the business to place the order with the company;
  • Weekly call reports and monthly reporting on activities in our area orders received, new customers visited, customer complaints etc;
  • Taking part in Stock Takes;
  • Finding and following up on new and current projects who is quoting, doing designing etc. Selling of our product and services;
  • Updating of customer cards for internal sales to follow up;
  • Participating in company held functions that are organised from time to time on an after hour basis;
  • Familiarise him / herself with ALL marketing tools of the company from A-Z;
  • Have a summary of current quotes issued for the areas to be visited for follow ups with clients and then reporting back to Branch Manager on a daily basis;
  • Attend Sales / Branch Manager’s training courses on a quarterly basis;
  • Attend weekly report back sales meetings and monthly sales meetings;
  • Ensure that customer’s information is current and updated at all times;
  • Meeting targets set by the Sales / Branch Manager;
  • Conducting contract reviews checking customer orders against your quotation and resolving and then making changes where necessary;
  • Ensuring company policies are followed at all times;
  • Order entry and monitoring progress;
  • Follow work instructions as amended from time to time;
  • Entertaining clients on his / her own either during working hours or on an after hour basis;
  • Ensuring new and existing customers are kept updated on latest developments within the company at all times;
  • Organising and preparing for CD Presentations at various companies if need be;
  • Reconcile expenses reports and claims;
  • Preparing weekly call planning sheets detailing areas to be visited specific projects follow-ups, hot sales prospects etc.
  • and then submitting same to Sales / Branch Manager;
  • See at least 8 customers daily and undertake country trips and trade fairs if need be;
  • Report to office on Fridays by latest 11 : 00 to prepare reports, attend review meetings as well as training and stock takes if and when required to do so;
  • Working with their allotted internal sales persons to obtain more business and to liaise and update them if and when necessary;
