  • About the position Responsibilities To manage / admin maintenance function : Ensure that all maintenance received gets reported to a contractor and get a relevant time of action Ensure that all quotes are forwarded to the responsible and / or competent persons for approval Ensure that a job is completed, or order parts that might be needed for the job to be completed Effectively decide what maintenance is critical and what can be managed to get the contractor to the more critical situation first Ensure that all maintenance reports gets completed within a reasonable time Analyze the type of maintenance and try and do a quick troubleshoot first Ensure that the right information is given through;
  • for example, confirm that the power is out instead of a faulty power switch on a piece of equipment that might not be working Give the store feedback throughout the whole maintenance process Ensure that all maintenance gets resolved quickly and effectively : Report maintenance immediately and efficiently Ensure that maintenance is completed in good order To listen to managers and asses if maintenance is completed or not, to avoid comebacks (return jobs) Obtain invoices and ensure correct calculations and pricing as per quotes Obtain invoices from all contractors on time and efficiently Ensure that all the invoices are received Note outstanding invoices Ensure that the job card is signed with a time in and time out Ensure that the labor is correct on the invoice Ensure that the parts used on the invoice correspond with those booked out for the specific store to the specific contractor List all invoices for the HOD sign off List all invoices in an Excel spread-sheet to keep track of budgets and ensure that a store doesn't exceed the budget exponentially Ensure that all contractors are aware if an invoice is not signed off for whatever reason possible To manage and control Head Office Warehouse Parts / Spares stockroom : Receive parts / spares from suppliers and book into stores Issue parts to contractors when required Month-end stock count to ensure all stock received and issued during the month balances Requirements Diploma in Finance or Warehousing 3 years of Pastel experience 3 years of Warehouse experience in a Maintenance / Spare parts environment 3 years experience in comparing invoices to actual maintenance work quoted and performed 2 years Asset management / control Solid knowledge of store operations in terms of critical equipment and critical breakdowns Solid understanding of the equipment used in stores to effectively solve the problem quickly Solid knowledge of Development & Maintenance concepts, processes, and procedures Basic knowledge to know what work with reference to maintenance will cost Solid understanding of critical and non-critical maintenance to prioritize critical maintenance Solid understanding of where the department wants to be and what we want to achieve Own car and valid driver's license must travel to branches daily Pta and JHB Desired Skills : Warehousing Pastel Maintenance Management Spare parts Invoicing Warehouse Administration Stock checking Warehouse materials Stock Administration Handling Returns Job card Asset Management Own car Desired Work Experience : 2 to 5 years Desired Qualification Level : Diploma About The Employer : Fast-food chain Employer & Job Benefits : Pension Fund
