Our client, a property management company in London, is looking to hire a Assistant Accountant to be based in the Stellenbosch area.
Job Description :
Your duties include assisting the Head of Finance to prepare accurate invoice processing, recording payments and settling queries with creditors.
Key Responsibilities :
Produce quarterly invoices on Xero for management fees, company secretarial fees, leasehold accounts, bank charges and credit control admin charges.
Conduct weekly credit control for outstanding payments.
Liaise with Property Managers and service charge team regarding any queries or payment discrepancies.
Carry out weekly reconciliation of business accounts and general client accounts.
Proof check all supplier invoices details are uploaded on Xero and processed for payment.
Educated to a Financial Degree level.
2 Years’ working experience essential in a similar position.
Good knowledge of property accounting systems.
Advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Working Hours : 09 : 00 to 18 : 00 Monday Friday
Salary Range : R30 000 per month.
Area : Stellenbosch area.
Starting date : As soon as possible.
