Our client, a property management company in London, is looking to hire a Assistant Accountant to be based in the Stellenbosch area.

Job Description :

  • Your duties include assisting the Head of Finance to prepare accurate invoice processing, recording payments and settling queries with creditors.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Produce quarterly invoices on Xero for management fees, company secretarial fees, leasehold accounts, bank charges and credit control admin charges.
  • Conduct weekly credit control for outstanding payments.
  • Liaise with Property Managers and service charge team regarding any queries or payment discrepancies.
  • Carry out weekly reconciliation of business accounts and general client accounts.
  • Proof check all supplier invoices details are uploaded on Xero and processed for payment.
  • Requirements :

  • Educated to a Financial Degree level.
  • 2 Years’ working experience essential in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of property accounting systems.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Working Hours : 09 : 00 to 18 : 00 Monday Friday

    Salary Range : R30 000 per month.

    Area : Stellenbosch area.

    Permanent position.

    Starting date : As soon as possible.
