s information resources. We are inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment on a two year fixed-
term contract. The successful individual will be based at our Pretoria Campus.Key RequirementsNational Diploma Information Technology Web and Applications with 2-
3 years- experience as a Web developer; or similar / equivalent qualification and experience. High level of computer literacy with decent understanding and experience in website content management, strong understanding of Web User Interface Design UI, general web functions and standards.
Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organisational units. Above average research skills, good writing and editing skills will be a strong advantage.
Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, customer service ethics and good networking skills. General organisational skills, ability to work well in a team, ability to work independently and sometimes under pressure to meet deadlines.
A valid driver-s licence is required Key ResponsibilitiesCo-ordination / Liaison with the Provincial Library Services, DAC, LIASA and other strategic partners.
Co-ordinate marketing activities to enhance library marketing and awareness. Co-ordinate and update content on the Conditional Grant Portal and Application which requires a decent understanding of Joomla, WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and MySQL Database.
Project management and support, reporting, monitoring and evaluation Perform any other duty assigned by the Management.
