Responsibilities of this RoleTo acquire and retain audiences across platforms, both media and entertainmentTo manage the entire audience journey across all engagement points (portfolios, platforms and brands)To increase acquisition, retention, and overall subscription revenue, for all products across the groupTo develop and implement the audience development strategy, membership strategy, loyalty strategy, and improve engagement with customers throughout the product lifecycleEnsures that all customer-related processes, systems and services are optimised to facilitate the best possible audience experienceImprove audience experience and lifetime value across all platformsTo ensure customer satisfaction is prioritised at all touchpoints and to be the key custodian of the customer relationship modelTo influence our ability to increase advertising revenue through audience monetisationTo work with the required business unit heads to facilitate the successful implementation of plans for audience development, memberships, clubs and loyalty programsPlans, monitors and executes print and digital subscription strategiesTo identify and develop plans to reach and convert new subscribersManage budgets and P&LDevelop and utilize pricing and forecasting modelsTo expand on existing customer databases, managing, analysing and reporting on these to EXCO and senior management teamsTo develop and monitor new campaigns and promotionsAssists with the design of marketing strategies to increase audience acquisition and retentionTo identify leading global and local subscription practices and successfully implements well-tested tacticsMines existing group sales data to identify insights, trends and opportunities, investigates and analyzes customer data to identify ways to improve audience usage, both physical and digitalManages and researches customer needs to inform quality content developmentExplore and identify e-commerce opportunities for the groupSkills and qualificationsPostgraduate Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or comparable work experiencePassionate about connecting people of all culturesSubscribes to the Arena valuesby taking accountability for their own work and that of the team and supporting functionstreats everyone with respect and dignitystrives for excellence and consistently produces best quality outputacts with integrity and is noble of characteris agile and responds quickly to changeREQUIREMENTSHighly motivated self-starter with the drive and desire to be part of a winning teamA person of demonstrable honesty and integrityCustomer centricProven ability to meet challenging goals and implement agreed plansExperience and proficiency in developing and delivering innovative products and servicesTrack record of development of effective acquisition and retention strategies, direct marketing to audiences and audience campaign managementCRM / client relationship / subscriber managementProven project management skillsSystemic thinkerBest practice knowledge of database managementExcellent attention to detail for written communications and materials developedAbility to effectively and professionally interact with senior members of the organization and external suppliersAble to manage complexity within tight time-framesDisplays a thorough understanding of the different customer segment propositions and is able to articulate clearly to customers.
