The client is a leading logistics software company. It develops an innovative and flexible logistics software suite which enables the efficient handling of all transport management tasks.

They are looking for a driven individual who will strengthen their international sales team as they expand their operations across Africa.

You will be responsible for :

Identifying, contacting, and acquiring potential customers by phone, email and / or in person visits (existing customers, freight forwarders, shippers from industry and trade).

Presenting the software solution online and on site to potential new customers.

Quote and contract negotiations.

Managing existing clients in the designated region.

Reporting to the branch management.

Ideal Profile

Completed logistics, business, or software degree with relevant professional experience.

Good IT skills (this is a leading-edge system so you must be able to understand all its features and benefits).

Knowledge of the logistics sector with a focus on road freight is essential.

Minimum 3 years sales experience is essential in logistics or software systems.

Valid drivers licence code 8.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Dedication to the job and excellent sales techniques.

Willingness to travel, you will require a valid passport.

Excellent English and Afrikaans proficiency (the company is also keen to find someone Portuguese language skills).

The role comes with a highly competitive salary and commission structure, company car, laptop, cell phone and presentation equipment.

There will be an opportunity to visit the head office in Europe for training.
