Job Description : OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB :

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB :

  • Accountable for Sales Strategy within Gauteng region
  • Achieve annual branch revenue and profitability budgets
  • Create year-on-year revenue growth and profitability objectives
  • Sales team development and management
  • Achieve sales and pipeline targets across new and existing offerings - Manage sales presentations, generate new sales opportunities, lead and effectively manage existing accounts
  • Oversee financial and operations management of the Gauteng branch
  • Sales management. Driving growth, business development and sales achievement in the region. Aspects that form part of this category, but are not limited to, consist of :

  • Implementation of sales strategy for the branch / region
  • Grow revenue and profitability of the branch
  • Overall achievement of revenue and profitability budgets of the branch
  • Sourcing new business and ensuring business growth in the region
  • Maintenance and allocations of existing / new client bases within the sales team
  • Regular sales and support meetings with the Gauteng sales team
  • Developing a stable, focused and effective sales team
  • Business Development related activities amount to approximately 75% of the job function.1. Financial and Operations Management.

    Aspects that form part of this category, but are not limited to, consist of :

  • Overseeing administration and the debtors book of the branch
  • Overseeing the service line for all business units within the branch Oversee monthly & weekly schedules and reports, including analysis and compilation of turnover and financial reports
  • Planning optimal use of training facility
  • Regular report writing to the Executive Learning Solutions
  • Oversee the quality management system & coordination of student evaluations
  • Stock control - managing the planning of sufficient quantities of course material
  • Meetings with the Gauteng branch team
  • Preparation of the budget for the branch
  • Controlling of expenses and costs
  • Overseeing the updating of client schedules
  • Maintenance and general upkeep of the office and canteen
  • Staff Development and performance reviews
  • Relationship with contract instructors and documentation
  • Preparing, planning and effective running of the Learnership Programmes
  • Ensure that Employment Equity targets are in line with Altron guidelines
  • Financial and Operations Management related activities amount to approximately 25% of the job function.
