This may interest a pharmacist wishing to work part time or wishing to increase their working hours. The hours are currently split over 3 days Monday to Wednesday however it may be possible to adjust this.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated pharmacist to join our Medical Clinical Pharmacy Team within ARI. You will be responsible for leading and delivering a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to frail and elderly inpatients mainly in the Geriatric Assessment Unit within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

You will work closely with your job share partner to ensure a consistently high level of care to patients and will be a core part of the multidisciplinary team.

You will be an experienced clinical pharmacist with excellent clinical knowledge and be able to work effectively as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will also be required to take an active role in the supervision and training of staff and students, to act as a role model and to participate in audit and research.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing clinical pharmacy team where you will have opportunities to work as one of our growing team of over 45 independent prescribers within the Acute service who are taking on new roles as an essential part of the wider healthcare team.
