Technology Services Projects Lead (IT Infrastructure)
A vacancy has arisen for a Technology Services Projects Lead EMEA and International (IT Infrastructure) at Glanbia Business Services in Dublin / Kilkenny .
This is a permanent position and will report to the Head of Global IT Operations.
This role involves delivery and deployment of Technology Services projects, (H / W, S / W, Communications), for EMEA and International.
This role reports to the Head of Global IT Operations team for standards, policies and processes.
Key elements of the role
Lead a technical services team in the delivery of Technology Services projects
Ensure all Global IT Operations standards and policies are adhered by the team
Adhere to IT design principles and standards as defined by Global Infrastructure & Design Services
Be the key on-site (and regional) deployment lead for regional Technology Services rollouts
Deliver projects to agreed designs, timeframes and budgets using Glanbia Project Management methodologies : Technical integration project delivery New technology service rollouts (for new and existing business) Hardware / software upgrade project delivery Project documentation, handover to Operations support and service desk
Participate in the Due Diligence exercise prior to new business acquisition
Be the regional standards and policies lead for unique and local installations that are not covered by Global design standards and do not need global leadership
Be the local feedback channel to Head of Global operations and Head of Design Services functions for quality and other business requirements
May act as a regional escalation point for 3rd line support issues from the IT Operations Team
Participate in Global Technology forums to maintain the global perspective and to bring regional perspective to the Global team

Requirements for the role
3rd Level relevant technical qualification
Skills & experience
5 plus years’ experience in a Senior operations position within a globally dispersed organisation
Leadership and people management
Foster a regional view across IT Operations teams
Facilitate team structures to enable delivery of services
Project prioritisation where regional, global and business priorities may conflict
Project Management and Delivery
Relationship management with regional users and wider GBS teams
Vendor management for project delivery
