The Role

We are looking for a hunter profile. Prior experience of selling technology solutions and services, channel sales, proven track record, referenceability and extensive local networking and business connections is imperative.

Skills and Experience

  • BCom, BSC IT, Business Related qualification would be a plus
  • 6 10 years’ experience
  • Dynamic and up to date with changing technologies.
  • An individual that can handle multiple clients.
  • Areas of focus : BI & Analytics, consulting and Microsoft products.

  • Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and grow a client base in South Africa and into Africa
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and transformation requirements
  • Research, source, make initial contact and meet potential clients at their locations to accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs
  • Create a well-qualified pipeline of prospective Business Consulting and Technology Services and Solutions opportunities by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key decision-makers
  • Propagate our design thinking approach and the use of our UX labs
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and work together with technical and pre-sales teams to develop feasible solutions
  • Liaise with presales and delivery heads to propose appropriate solutions after identifying new opportunities
  • Prepare and present proposals and close new accounts in targeted verticals. Nihilent focus is on Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing and Health
  • Client / Key Account Management at multiple levels, especially with key decision makers to determine sales objectives.
