Introduction A hotel in the Centurion area is looking to hire an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to take charge of and streamline the housekeeping department.

Duties & Responsibilities Manage and control the housekeeping stock (stock takes, stock orders, storage, etc.) Conduct daily maintenance checks of the rooms to ensure preventative maintenance is done and that existing maintenance issues are resolved expeditiously Ensure that staff rostering is done efficiently to ensure optimum productivity of housekeepers Conduct practical training with staff to ensure adherance to standards, as well as staff development and growth Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and inspected daily Ensure that all function rooms are cleaned and maintained as per the daily function requirements Ensure that spring cleaning is done as required Ensure that linen is properly cleaned, managed and maintained Assist with actual cleaning and laundry duties Assist with general duties in other departments in the hotel where required You may be required to work duty management shifts Desired Experience & Qualification Hospitality Management Qualification 2 5 years in a similar position
