Key performance areas :
Create and manage implementation of analytics tracking and testing, designed to optimise and measure site, product and campaign performance.
Work closely with online trading teams to identify new areas of focus and identify necessary enhancements for tracking and analysis.
Design methodologies for tag documentation, testing protocols, ensuring data consistency, and data retention architecture.
Review weekly trade and stock reports to provide insights that could assist with increasing online revenue, average order value, quantity and conversion rate across the trading sites.
Work closely with development teams to translate requirements for technical leads, and to drive technical workflows for both implementation and testing.
Ensure consistency of data collection between data collection methodologies, and foster data retention architecture, in conjunction with the BI engineers.
Collaborate with trading managers, marketing teams, management and analysts to integrate Google Analytics into strategic business dashboards, program-
based reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
Identify and analyse trends and shifts in customer behaviour, both independently and in collaboration with trading managers and marketers across both trading sites and mobile apps.
Support the creation of reporting materials for the TFG Board and senior leadership.
Provide direction on optimising product placement on trading sites, in order to maximise sales and allow our customers to find product with ease.
Create, implement, monitor, report and make recommendations on how to improve business rules with regard product display across the sites.
Drive the prioritisation of technical enhancements to improve onsite search and data enrichment.
Ensure all skus have the proper attributes, facets and details needed to be customer facing and verify everything displays correctly.
Monitor and assist in review of web titles, copy, and creative to optimise all marketing.
Monitor competitor websites and provide feedback on how their product assortment, website functionality and UX and CX compares to the TFG trading sites.
Assist with UAT to troubleshoot issues for all trading sites for upcoming promotions and any new site functionality. This includes re-
testing when corrections or fixes are released to production.
To qualify for this position you will need :
4+ years of relevant analytics experience (eCommerce preferred).
Good understanding and experience of log collection, data retention architecture, data analysis.
Google Analytics expertise from a site tagging and data collection perspective.
Proficiency in ad pixeling strategies and reporting on marketing campaign performance.
A willingness to collaborate and cultivate relationships with trading divisions.
Experience in architecting data collection solutions.
Comfort with A / B testing methodologies, crafting targeted custom variables and segmentation.
Skills in strategic problem solving.
Reporting proficiency across all skills areas.
A highly analytical mind with a demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.
The ability to work with little supervision while managing multiple priorities; quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
A strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Comfort with providing insights and building support for your findings, and able to simplify complex, data sets into easily digestible visualisations.
