MAIN DUTIES :
The Engineering Solutions Sales Representative is responsible for customer growth and retention, aligning customer needs to the appropriate "Software as a Service (SaaS).
The main duties of this position are listed below :
Develop business growth opportunities with small to mid-large enterprise companies with a national presence
Develop a sales pipeline by building interest with new prospects and clients resulting from outbound research and activities including email, phone, cold calling, and / or social media activities (requires a hunter profile)
Respond to marketing generated leads and logging all sales activities into the CRM.
Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Solutions and be able to clearly articulate their advantages.
Develop sales strategies in collaboration with peers, in pursuit of individual and team success.
Arrange and conduct product demonstrations with interested prospects.
Spearhead, drive, and guide potential prospects through the buying process, from discovery to close of sale.
Work with pre-sales technical support to develop, demonstrate & propose the appropriate solutions that solve customer problems, aligned with measurable metrics
Participate in networking events and industry conferences to drive lead generation and in conjunction with Marketing Department, carry out and drive marketing and sales campaigns
Develop a healthy pipeline (3 x quota) to support quota achievement by applying a prescribed sales methodology to all opportunities.
Meet monthly and quarterly quotas, including demonstrations set & conducted, qualified opportunities and sales achievement
Account Management for Customer Retention
Ensure timeous renewal of annual support maintenance.
Maintain customer relationship in a professional manner ensuring that the P1 brand image is enhanced.
Appropriate resolution of customer issues and complaints
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal applicant must have :
3-year undergraduate degree or diploma in IT, Sales, Marketing, or other related areas
2-3 years’ experience, hunter focused internal sales experience, B2B solutions
Demonstrated experience in consultative software solutions sales, working to a prescribed sales methodology (software / SaaS sales).
Technical (IT / software) background
CAD & PLM solutions sales experience
Experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors
