JOB SUMMARY :
The Director, Sales for Africa reports directlyto the VP, Sales MEASA and will be the general manager and sector leader for adesignated geography or customer segment with full P&L and functionalresponsibility for the development, implementation and operational managementfor the assigned territory.
With a focus on overachieving against sales goalswill lead the development of objectives, plans and strategies to grow sales andrevenue while driving partner-based business relationships.
Provides strategicand tactical leadership for a cross functional team to maximize sales,revenues, and margin. Provide global leadership for customer relationshipmanagement models and processes.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Understand, Adhere and Enforce all Corporate Policies to includebut not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Owner of the Africa territory or customer segment revenue plan andthe execution of the revenue plan.
Responsible for the development of the sales strategy, PartnerManagement and tactical execution of the strategy.
Design and develop the sales organization to drive increasedproductivity and achieve the quarterly and yearly revenue targets.
Focus on all elements of the revenue plan.
Role model for ACI’s sales culture and sales best practices.
Develop and implement processes and systems for the assigned customersegment to ensure partner-based customer relationships that will be used as ablue print for managing customer relationships globally.
Responsible for development and management of territory annualoperating budget, and actively seek ways to measure and improve performance.
Track, manage and communicate related forecasts and results.
Drive team towards expected market penetration andcustomers / partners satisfaction levels as well as driving each Sales managementmember toward expected quarterly and annual sales objectives.
Escalate issues requiring attention such as product deficiencies,service and delivery issues, and other customer satisfaction issues inaccordance with Customer Satisfaction initiatives.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional team, includingProduct, Services, Customer Management, AOD, AD and Corporate as it relates toterritory.
Establish & manage relationships with prospectivecustomer / target senior executives based upon innovation & value. Negotiateand close large, complex multi-year contracts with Fortune 500 Banks.
Ensures the execution of ACI’s Sales Best Practices.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degreerequired
Direct sales and / or leadership experience in industries targeted by ACI (financialinstitutions, processors, merchants, etc.) preferred.
Possess strong communication,collaboration and interpersonal skills, ability to perform well under stressand meet deadlines, high energy and strong leadership.
5-8 years of G.M. and P&L managementexperience, with a target of achieving $30 million+ revenue line of business.
8+ years of successful direct salesexperience
12+ years of successful salesleadership experience
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain a proactiveunderstanding of
ACI’s customer needs and goals. Will act as customer advocate : take initiative to overcome obstacles, to solve customer problems and tocontinuously improve overall customer satisfaction and demand.
