Job Description

Standard Bank Wealth and Investment (SBWI) is the high-net worth wealth management division within Standard Bank and services individuals with the potential for investable assets in excess of USD1million.

Working closely with Wealth Managers and Paraplanners, assisting in the delivery of investment strategy to a diverse range of clients.

To maintain a service-based relationship which is credible, trustworthy both internally and externally. To assist with the day- to- day administration with the preparation of proposals / reviews / investment instructions from clients.

To facilitate the preparation and fulfilment of all investments / withdrawals / switches / top ups / reviews and any other ad-hoc tasks as requested by client or Wealth Manager.


Minimum qualification

  • Advanced Diploma in Business Commerce
  • Other minimum qualifications, certifications or professional memberships

  • Relevant tertiary business qualification, e.g. B. Comm (Financial Planning), Academy of Financial Markets
  • 3 - 4 years' experience

  • The job holder should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial services environment.
  • Broad knowledge of the Bank’s internal structures, policies and procedures, infrastructure and systems is an advantage.
