The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for planning sales targets for various customer segments and driving these sales through business efficient strategies.
Driving business efficiency through accurate campaign analysis, response forecasting and adspend management. Responsible for driving performance and report on over- or underperformance on a weekly level.
Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role :
Meet company NSV applicable activities and net efficiency objectives
Achieve NSV target for responsible customer or prospect segments
Achieve intake value target for responsible customer segments
Achieve CPN (Cost per Name) for responsible customer segments
Responsible for the alignment of credit strategy with the business strategy for responsible customer segments
Ensure that key forecasting variables are credible in the business plan and are assessed timeously
Ensure business plan projections are credible from an operational perspective
Reduce customer attrition rates through the development and implementation of effective retention / repurchase strategies
Implement core strategies to increase customer spend through effective use of cross and upselling techniques to targeted groups of customers
Understand the impact of legislation on key performance variables and take mitigating actions to minimize business risk
Manage adspend budget
Manage adspend unit cost for responsible campaigns customer segments in line with strategic objectives
Achieve marketing campaign efficiency
Ensure adspend forecasts are credible and in line with strategic objectives
Manage the adspend process to ensure efficiency gains are achieved
Deliver a scenario plan with completed actuals in accordance with pre-defined business plan timelines
Business plan management
Ensure that revenue and spend variances are identified, investigated and explained
Develop and roll out test strategies in line with the marketing plan
Ensure that the new business plan follows agreed business timelines
Ensure that key annual planning variables are credible and justified
Build campaigns in campaign management tools and ensure they are executed appropriately.
In collaboration with channel heads, Eensure campaigns are successfully implemented
Propose and implement improvements within existing reports to reduce the turnaround time on data reports outdated?
Analyse trends related to key variables within campaigns and put forward proposals. SQL experience will be an advantage here
Strategic delivery / analysis
Ensure that the package and execution are aligned with campaign strategic objectives
Ensure that strategies are changed timeously based on results and campaign lessons learned
Develop weekly and monthly reporting on key variables for responsible campaigns
A Business Science / BComm / Marketing Degree
2 - 3 Years’ experience in either a Marketing, Merchandising or Demand planning function
MS Office proficient (Advance Excel skills)
SQL experience will be an added advantage
