F&B Manager Bela Bela 4 Star Luxury Lodge

We are looking for experienced F&B MANAGER to join the team of a well-known, 4 star lodge, located in Bela Bela, Limpopo.

This position requires the following job spec / trade but are not limited to :

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Managing a fully operational F&B department with a staff compliment of at least 30.
  • Excellent Guest Relations
  • Hands on management
  • Experience with managing functions at multiple venues
  • Valid Food & Beverage Qualification,
  • Basic Financial Understanding, including managing of budgets , setting and monitoring targets
  • Good Computer skills in MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook),
  • Reliable, Ethical, Confidentiality driven, Motivated, Sales Orientated, Honest, Passionate,
  • Ability to manage a Food & Beverage Department as a business unit.
  • Experienced in Staff Training and motivation
  • Valid RSA Drivers license and Identity document
  • Excellent and stable track Record with contactable references
  • Advanced knowledge with MICROS Point of Sale
  • Experienced in Stock controls including Operating Equipment
  • Willing to work shifts
  • Duties / Responsibilities

  • Staff Management (Training, Performance & Appraisals, Client Service, Policies & Procedures, SOPs),
  • Development & Implementation of variety of Food & Beverage Procedures,
  • Able to achieve targets,
  • Equipment and Stock control,
  • Design, Implement and Manage Shift Schedules for staff,
  • Establish Food & Beverage budgets and Financial goals,
  • Monitor operations and ensure compliance with health, safety and high gene industry standards,
  • Accounting (Cash Flow, Bank Deposits, Budget, General Financial Statements)
  • Respond to client inquiries and / or complaints,
  • Develop & Implement marketing strategies,
  • Be able to work in a remote area
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports
  • Start date : August / September 2021

    Salary package :

  • Salary negotiable (Based upon experience and qualifications),
  • Provident Fund 5% of Basic,
  • Live in position,
  • Meal provided whilst on shift
