SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Cape Town
Duties include but are not limited to :
Fuels, Lubricants and LPG (Gas) sales.
Present and sell company products and services to existing database as well as new potential clients and identify sales prospects within your area.
Write up of sales contracts for new customers.
Schedule appointments and visit existing customers to review needs and determine other opportunities, requires travel.
Provide Product quotes as required.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Manage account services through Quality checks.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Continuously update customers regarding product changes, and modifications.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including visits, activities, proposals, new business, volumes, etc.
Follow up visits to the clients to be sure that all product equipment is functioning the way it is supposed to and be sure the client are still satisfied.
Following up with customers for collection of payment for products and services.
Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
Debtors management Management of customer account payments to ensure credit tern are adhered to.
Monthly sales performance presentations.
Weekly prospect list reporting
Weekly logbook reporting
Management of equipment installation for customers.
Other duties as assigned by management.
The incumbent needs to exercise sound judgement, with a high sense of integrity and act consistent and fair when dealing with matters.
The incumbent should be au-fait with all related policies and procedures in order to be fully equipped in dealing with matters.
The incumbent must be able to operate at a strategic level with the ability to function independently and in a team and portray self-confidence with sufficient emotional resilience to deal with rejection.
The incumbent must possess the ability to adapt and respond to situations with the business arena, which can be volatile and threatening to the overall relationship.
Skills relevant to the job include education or experience, specialized training, personal characteristics or abilities.
