A well-established international analytical and process instrumentation company is seeking a National Sales Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts as well as manage distributors and channel partners.
Minimum requirements for the role : A BSc Degree or BTech qualification or related qualification is essential. Previous experience having sold a large product range into the water industry is essential.
Previous experience with flow and liquid or related analytical equipment is essential. Previous experience selling laboratory and process instrumentation or related is essential.
Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-
technical customers. Must have strategic thinking skills along with strong project implementation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for : Increasing sales throughout the given territory of Sub-
Saharan Africa by implementing strategies promoting business and territory growth. Developing the distributor’s sales team to support customer’s needs and actively attain greater market share.
Attaining policy deployment goals to grow the sales of products throughout the territory. Meeting or exceeding the sales plan targets within the targeted industries (waste water and potable water).
Recommending and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue from existing and potential distribution territories.
Managing and developing the distribution sales team and making recommendations to the company as to how distribution management and sales growth may be optimised.
Assisting with product launches and conducting training with distributors to ensure the success of new product roll-outs in the region.
Reviewing and expanding the network of distributors. Making recommendations as to how distribution management and sales growth can be optimised.
Salary package is negotiable depending on experience.
