Medical AdministratorChris Barnard HospitalOur client, a busy surgical practice, based at the Chris Barnard Memorial Hospital, seeks to appoint a Medical Administrator to assist with general Practice administration which will include diary management, general accounting functions as well as various administration duties.
Minimum of 3 years experience within a medical practice administration environment - ESSENTIAL.Must be exceptionally well presented.
Must have sound computer literacy skills.Strong command of the English language with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to function independently as well as in a team.Employment Commencement date : 4 January 2021Responsibilities : Manage reception area.
Diarise appointments for both medical practitioners.Theatre bookings.Front desk Billings and Receipting.Dealing with patient queries.
Deal with medical aid authorisations and enquiries.Typing of medical reports and letters to GPs.Manage Petty Cash.Stock control of medical stock as well as consumables.
Co-ordinate housekeeping.Any other administrative duties as required by the Practice.
