Minimum requirements for the role :
Previous experience having worked in a Technical or Quality Manager role ideally within the Fruit or Beverage and or Convenience Food Markets is essential.
Previous Management experience having managed and led a team of people is essential.
Must have an understanding of finance and commercial aspects working within a Food business is pref.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be liaising with their customers and all In House Staff within the factory up to CEO level.
Computer literate and excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential.
Previous experience having run and managed budgets as well as presenting technical and related reports to Senior Management is essential.
Previous experience having done HACCP and SAFSIS audits is essential
The successful candidate needs to have a Quality Technical background.
The successful candidate with be responsible for :
Ensuring the various Food Safety Management Systems are in place and verified at their Sites.
Conducting internal audits, as well as managing the external audits for each of the Divisions.
Coordinating and working with the Operation Managers, as well as managing their team and overseeing all Assistants.
Overseeing the development and analysis of various technical problems in the vicinity and ensuring everything that is produced is done well.
Looking at and improving recipes and ensuring it is timeously implemented.
Conducting performance reviews, analysing the problems and ensuring the product specifications are in line.
Ensuring that all standards are met for products that are produced.
Ensuring continuous technical improvement throughout the group, working alongside the Operations and Senior Managers in the various divisions.
Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
