Formal qualifications :

  • PMP / CAPM and / or Prince2 Certification (Preferred),
  • A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in similar
  • Role-specific knowledge :

  • Highly proficient in Project Management principles
  • Highly numerate, with strong financial management
  • Strong supplier & people management skills
  • Strong knowledge of document management and version tracking
  • Advantageous if you have experience in the mining industry
  • Safety Knowledge :

    Provides a consistent outstanding role model in relation to safety practices with a deep understanding of the importance of safety

  • Track project cash flow in accordance with Supply chain and PMO
  • Co-ordinate purchase orders, invoice payments between the project and supply
  • Provide input to project and portfolio reporting with regards to project finance and / or
  • Manage and track project invoices and vendor
  • Document Management and version control in accordance with organisational governance
  • Set up and manage portfolio feedback sessions as / when required per portfolio and track attendance and
  • Follow-up and assist Project Managers and / or team members on the timely generation of project reporting and other
  • Key Internal Relationships :

  • MTS Support Manager
  • Portfolio Manager
  • Project Managers
  • Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Project Team Members
  • Peers
  • Key External Relationships :

    Key Service Providers and Contractors / Consultants Co-ordinate and manage (in conjunction with project / portfolio managers) the process for document approval and update.

    Ability to :

  • understand required portfolio outputs and how own work contributes
  • make recommendations on how to improve required work outputs
  • compliance with policy and work frameworks
  • Must have strong client orientation and excellent relationship skills
  • The candidate will need ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent oral / written communication skills
  • Very strong financial acumen essential
  • Previous experience with Clarizen and SAP advantageous
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products essential
