A unique opportunity for a Systems Analyst exists in the Supply Chain team at our Head Office. As the successful incumbent you will have first-hand exposure to understand and analyze the business;
its models, processes, and systems with a focus on Manhattan WMS. You will be part of the team that will design, configure, and rolls out the Manhattan WMS across the business.
In addition, you will interact closely with Operations to understand their challenges and problems, drawing connections and translating business needs to ensure continuous systems improvement or designing systems solutions as part of the wider Supply Chain team of specialists.
You will have the opportunity to learn and understand business processes, increase your knowledge and understanding of a large, complex, and successful retail company’s supply chain, with a focus on warehouse management systems. ROLE OVERVIEW
Develop an understanding of the business, processes, and requirements and propose software solutions
Interpret business process models to develop functional and technical specifications
Specification and management of system configuration changes
System testing and documentation
Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
Training manual development and maintenance
Facilitation of training workshops
Assist with user support
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or Information Systems
3-5years relevant experience
A passion for warehouse processes and systems
Existing experience in a Tier1 WMS system such as Manhattan or others
A curious self-starter who takes initiative, investigates problems, see possibilities, and takes action
Proficient in Google Workspace or MS Office Suite
The following will be an advantage :
Retail Experience
Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) software tools i.e. Symbio, Jira, ARIS, etc.
Programming experience, i.e. SQL, MySQL
