Our client in the agricultural industry requires the services of a Junior BI Analyst who will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value and assist the business in the implementation and monitoring of production systems.

Duties

Key performance areas :

Data analysis and data modelling from a variety of different data sources.

Business process documentation

Project management according to agile project management principles

Provide training and support to end users

The successful candidate must have :

Matric with a B.Com Degree or similar qualification

2 Years data analysis experience within a MS SQL environment

Excellent computer literacy (Excel advanced)

Exceptional attention to detail and accurate execution of tasks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must have working knowledge of the following :

o Structured Query Language (SQL)

o Power BI Services (Desktop, Service, Mobile Apps, Gateway)

o Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)

o Microsoft Direct Query and Power Query

o How Power BI Services relate to Excel

o Good graphical presentation of data
