Ensure Group applications and databases are updated with the most recent updates, patches, and upgrades.Propose and drive initiatives that reduce incidents through automation, self-healing and proactive monitoringCatalogue repetitive tasks and transactions break / fix incidents and well-defined requests).

Work closely with the product team starting from discover and describe phase to bring in the technology considerations and opportunities in the demand evaluation.

Provide IT change and operational support to the business, support the portfolio of services and products for support, preserve the infrastructure and hardware, secure that the current estate can support demand capacity.

Support and optimise existing infrastructure services to run and support current and future demand, enable enterprise agility, and assist DevOps ways of working in resilient and scalable IT infrastructure.

Participate in design sessions with key product stakeholders to create solutions that are aligned to the IMs architecture standards and principles, that leverage common solutions and services, and that meet financial targets.

Share expertise during the mobilise, plan, engineer, deploy, and transition phases of the E2D process and re-evaluate benefits realization as required on both run and change.

Cooperate with cross-functional DevOps teams to support and offer end-to-end service and assist in all activities across the technology stack, from application to infrastructure.

Coordinate with service integration and orchestration and strategic suppliers to deliver change where required, guaranteeing that solutions are integrated.

Contribute to a high-level platform roadmap for solutions.Tasks / deliverablesProvide input on the strategic direction for platforms in terms of delivering clear north star vision for the Groups business and technology.

Liaise with enterprise architects, solution architects, and technology partners to guarantee alignment of IM platform vision and roadmaps with IM strategy and target.

Establish and drive group applications cloud roadmap and business case.Secure that the proper knowledge management process and systems are in place for platforms and services.

Manage the requirements needed at specific tasks and participate in the service design, process design, and solution design for platforms and services.

Analyse and prepare proposals for optimisation, upgrades, retirement, and / or replacement of applications, technologies and databases.

Collaborate with delivery management to develop DevSecOps technology strategy and implementation frameworks in alignment with the different platform roadmaps.

Drive buy-in and adoption of platform enhancements and upgrades.Cooperate with delivery management to verify that all the solutions and changes adhere to deployment, transition, and change management practices.

Support in setting service continuity, capacity, event, and availability management standards for platform and services.Contribute to setting standards for the support and implementation partners for SLA and KPI framework that is aligned with the vision for the platforms.

Ascertain that all platforms related solutions and changes are tested in accordance with the quality assurance and testing practices and policies and are on CI / CD pipelines.

Drive the adoption and implementation of quality assurance and test automation practices in the platforms and solutions.Work with the IT hardware and software asset management teams to secure proper inventory management and asset management for all platform assets.

Collaborate with service providers and other platform managers to enable configuration management completeness, compliance, and correctness of the CMDB.

Apply evidence-based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations.Implement the Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework.

Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to enable the provision of exceptional IM services.

Continuously improve own skills and knowledge.Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
