Job Description :

Mechanical Technician is responsible to provide technical support to the day shift personnel, ensuring maximum plant availability, efficiency, quality and reliability maintained.

Perform root cause failure analysis and investigate production and quality related issues.

Incumbent will be required to lead projects for both improvements and new developments in the plant.

During shutdowns periods he / she will be involved with shut planning and supervision.

The incumbent may periodically act in the position of section Engineer to gain experience with management and working with team managers.

Job Requirements :

2 to 5 years Basic Metal Manufacturing

Desired Skills :

Knowledge of Hydraulic

Pneumatic and complex mechanical systems.

Must have sound knowledge of planned maintenance principles

Motivated self-starter with the ability to think analytically

Flexible and willing to work overtime when required

Good communication skills with ability to liaise with suppliers and colleagues on all levels

Plant process and equipment knowledge will be advantages.
