  • A minimum of a BSc (Agric) with Soil Science, Agronomy, Horticulture or Plant Science.
  • Hons Degree in Agriculture will be advantageous.Experience
  • Agricultural background and / or fertilizer background knowledge.
  • Experience in and Knowledge of permanent crops (Citrus) and / or seasonal crops (wheat, barley, potatoes, onions)
  • Experience with liquid fertilizer will be of advantage.Duties
  • Provide professional fertilization and agronomic advice to farming enterprises.
  • Build and manage fruitful and sustainable relationships with clients.
  • Attending to and resolving customer queries.
  • Interact with key stakeholders across the value chain to promote customer satisfaction and delivery.
  • Driving sales and marketing of products through effective relationship management and technical proficiency
  • Apply a differentiated marketing strategy to meet customer needs.
  • Work in close cooperation with Omnia Regional Management.
  • Function as an integral part of and be central to the Omnia Marketing model.
  • Provide strategic support to Omnia representatives / agents with regards to products and recommendations.Job Competencies
  • Sound knowledge of fertilizer and chemical products with fertilization recommendations in mind
  • Good grasp of the concepts of client needs and adding value in an agricultural context
  • Knowledge of the key differences, requirements and specifications of permanent and seasoned crops
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook
  • Report Writing Skills
  • Entrepreneurial and Problem solving mindset
  • Relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Proviciency in Afrikaans will be advantageousGeneralDrivers License is a minimum requirement
