Industrial water treatment company is looking for a Sales and Service Technician to manage existing key accounts and service mainly water treatment systems on boiler plants in the Cape.
The role will be mainly service and technical support, some up-selling and new business development will be expected.
A ND chemistry, chemical engineering or similar qualification is required.
At least 1 year in a similar role is essential, i.e industrial water treatment service technician, technical support technician, application engineer.
Experience servicing customers is required - please do not apply if you have laboratory analyses experience only.
Must be hands on, mechanically minded, able to carry out minor repairs on equipment, i.e. softeners and dosing pumps.
The role involves carrying of drums of chemicals, filling dosing tanks and doing field analyses, and you must be happy to and physically able to carry out all parts of the job.
