The job incumbent will be responsible for the following :

  • implement marketing strategies
  • develop innovative responses to market needs
  • maximise national sales
  • manage key accounts
  • manage relationship with the national distributor
  • evaluate and achieve growth in local markets
  • stay abreast of changing trends and market indicators
  • reporting
  • The ideal candidate should have :

  • a relevant sales-, marketing- or commerce qualification
  • minimum five years’ experience in a similar position
  • experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
  • experience in managing a national distributor
  • knowledge of wine and the wine industry
  • outstanding negotiation skills and business acumen
  • excellent communication skills
  • very good interpersonal skills
  • problem-solving and analytical skills
  • a highly performance / results-oriented personality
  • The company offers a market related remuneration package in line with experience and qualifications.
