Qualified Fitter and Turner

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum 5 years post qualification experience

Experience in a maintenance environment

Experience in steel fabrication from drawings

Arc welding experience

Excellent hydraulic experience

Injection moulding experience advantageous

Own transport

Maintenance Fitter job description

Machine checks, hydraulic oil level, oil and water leaks (repair if necessary).

Attend to mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns.

Lead machine preventative maintenance services including Robots.

Preventative maintenance of part conveyors.

Preventative maintenance of raw material mixers.

Preventative maintenance of production support equipment.

Preventative maintenance of granulator equipment.

Continuous improvement of plant equipment.

Chiller water and normal cooling water PVC pipework distribution maintenance and modifications.

Ensure machine lubrication systems fully functional.

Mechanical and hydraulic repairs.

Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Housekeeping of work area.

Steel fabrication work.

PVC piping installations.
