Bryanston - A client of ours is looking for a Brand Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES To develop, recommend and execute annual Marketing plan activities in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.

Implementation of licensed brands marketing plans. Ensure consistent interpretation of brand objectives and strategies. Monitor the appropriate implementation of brand identity tools.

Create and maintain a network of co-operative relationships with business partners and key customers. Identify and evaluate ideas to maximise competitive advantage.

In close co-operation with Sales & Trade Marketing, identify trade needs / opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions.

Quarterly input into brand forecast in conjunction with sales and procurement. Determine and implement strategies to maximise sales and profits of the portfolio.

Integrate all strategies, plans and objectives into an annual Product Development and Management Plan setting out objectives and strategies per brand / product / category.

Implement all the elements of the Marketing Plan. COG's value analysis & improvement to ensure benchmarked costs and required gross profit is achieved.

Actively monitor competitive activity (marketing strategies, activities and pricing) and take required action in local and international markets.

Contribute to the strategic business innovation targets by delivering a product development programme (5 year pipeline) to generate consistent sales & profit growth.

Co-ordinate and lead project & new product development work streams consisting of marketing, R&D, operations, finance, purchasing and external partners (where applicable).

Manage agencies in the development of communication to deliver on the brand / product / category objectives. Packaging revisions, approvals and executions.

Manage and administer the A&P budget within approved levels. Lead in identifying opportunities and priorities, both globally and locally.

Communicate marketing / communication plans to sales, monitor execution, obtain feedback and post campaign evaluation reporting.

Develop and deliver insightful presentations and strategies to the Marketing Manager & NPD project teams where appropriate.

Monthly monitoring of the entire brand and / or product portfolio performance vs plan; propose corrective actions where required.

Actively monitor category plan sales execution in strong co-operation with Trade Marketing. Regulatory Compliance - Ensure brand and product compliance with relevant regulatory associations and / or Acts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Completed Tertiary Qualification in Marketing / Business is essential +3yrse previous FMCG marketing experience is essential Competent functional marketing skills and ethos Project management skills Strong conventional media, social media and digital communication skills Presentation skills Negotiation skills Strong Computer skills (literacy) Working knowledge of IRI Market data tool or other syndicated data tools Working knowledge of packaging processes is desirable Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution Self-starter, problem solver and results driven Functional excellence Solution oriented Agile and adaptable Collaborative nature Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written An eagerness to share, learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, environment Ability to drive the business agenda Time management Desired Skills FMCG Negotiation Digital Communication Project Management Brand Implementation Brand Management Trade Marketing Marketing strategies Marketing planning ATL Desired Work Experience 5 to 10 years Desired Qualification Accreditation Degree
