We are now positioned for considerable growth with exciting opportunities on the horizon. Our technology platform needs to scale as quickly, which means youll be given a lot of responsibility quickly.

Students use our proprietary, custom-built tech platforms to learn about our programs, apply, make payments, and connect with other alumni once theyve completed a program.

Each of these has been meticulously designed to create a great experience for our students and power business growth. Youll be a senior leader in the business and charged with building out one of the most important parts of our growth strategy.

Your responsibility will be to take ownership of the tech product : to keep the user experience flawless and conversion rates high, including hiring and leading software developers, UX designers, and data analysts.

Youll work closely with other business leaders to ensure tech development is supporting and collaborating effectively with the broader business, as well as support with new product development when needs arise.

More specifically, youll be responsible for the following :

  • Tech roadmap : Creating and maintaining a roadmap for tech development, and run an agile process to deliver on that roadmap.
  • Front end website : Working with the marketing and sales teams to make updates to the front-end website.
  • Student management system : Building out and developing application system, enrollment platform, and community platform to improve conversion rates, referrer engagement, and cost of acquisition.
  • Team building : Hiring and managing developers to deliver on that roadmap using an agile process.
  • Tech-driven business tools : Creating tools for business leaders to access and interpret data about the funnel performance to improve acquisition and sales strategies.
  • New product exploration : Mapping out product opportunities for new product ideas as they arise.
  • The bridge between tech and business : Building a strong relationship between business leaders and tech implementation and value creation.
  • Quality assurance : Setting up and maintaining QA processes so all systems stay on-brand and bug-free.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a product-focused role for a tech platform. You should be familiar with creating product requirements documents, managing stakeholder expectations, creating user stories, leading a development team, and taking ownership of the products success.
  • Technology background, either as a formal degree or with coding experience.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and data visualization tools such as Data Studio or Tableau.
  • Experience hiring and leading an in-house or outsourced development team. Abilities not required for the role, but are considered bonuses :
  • A background in design and / or UX, designing mockups using tools such as InVision
  • Experience coding in HTML, SCSS, or Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to write SQL and manage databases
  • Formal education in computer science or software development
