IntroductionOur Manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Warranty Clerk.The Warranty Clerk will ensure that all warranty paperwork is properly documented, and that all verifying criteria needed by the company is processed correctly.
They will work closely with the Finance Department to obtain payments for warranty work, and will keep an accurate record of customers, claims and services rendered.
Excellent organisation skills, document control, and accuracy are needed for this role.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to : Research whether the product falls under warranty.
For valid warranties; sales orders are to be processed and dispatched.For new product warranty claims; investigate and check production spec sheets.
Check Quality Control documentation, and have a NCR drawn up with the relevant production department. Follow-through with sales order processing and dispatch.
Coordinate with Management and prepare sales orders for authorisation as per warranty requirement.Report on financial status of claims and warranties.
Close-off of open jobs on Syspro.Assist various production departments and fulfill all warranty requirements.Monitor all customer inquiries and requests on all warranty issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction and ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.Evaluate databases and complete all data entry for warranty claims and filings.
Prepare and maintain all warranty documents according to manufacturing requirements.Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.
Desired Experience & QualificationMatricAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience in a Goods Manufacturing environment
