IntroductionOur Client in the Financial Advisory Services based in Lynwood (Pretoria) is looking for a candidate with experience in New Business Sales Bespoke Products.

  • The primary focus is to grow market share by gaining, maintaining, growing and retaining independent brokers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesIncrease sales opportunities for all bespoke productsDo up and cross selling of products to existing brokersSet up minimum standards with admin team on quotesMinimise cancellations through regular and pro-active dealings with clientsAssist clients with claims related problems and report all deviations to managementService Clients in accordance with the Companies Minimum Service StandardsAssist systems designer with product set upSet, manage and evaluate sales targets for all brokersDesign sales strategy plan for bespoke productsRetain, Develop and Grow existing market shareProvide after sales service to ensure that the new business vestsIdentify opportunities for up / cross selling and write additional businessPromote bespoke products to short term industryRegular Networking -Identify opportunities and implement marketing and promotional activitiesBuild relationships through regular contact, identifying critical decision makers with all stakeholders (client, insurers, etc) ;
  • Client Communication Keep clients informed of developments in the industry and marketAdhere to FAIS requirements and set company proceduresEnsure all communication with the client is in accordance with FAIS minimum standardsGeneral correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standardsEnsure that all brokers are trained on bespoke products and facilitate training requirementsUpdate and revise marketing materialDesign sales reports and submit to line manager monthlyCollaborate with all key stakeholdersCommunicate all product enhancements and requirements to Head of ProductProduce monthly statistics to all brokers, quotes, conversions and incomeDesired Experience & QualificationMatricLevel 4 FETC in Short-term InsuranceHigher Certificate in InsurancePost matric qualification is an advantage (BComm Risk / Accounting, BBA)Passed RE QualificationMinimum 7 years short term insurance with 5 of the 7 years in a commercial account servicing and sales capacityExperience in customer liaison;
  • building and maintaining relationshipsExperience working in a Brokerage is preferredPackage & RemunerationR15 000 Basic plus Comm
