SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :

POSITION INFO :

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions on Abaserve(training will be done)
  • Filing of all documents ( sales inv, purchase inv, cash slips, staff docs & pay slips, bank statements, block tests)
  • Processing of invoices & credit notes to customers.
  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
  • Capturing on Abaserve of (purchases, expenses, bank statements .incl bank reconciliations)
  • Capturing and control of cash receipts and expenses incl cashbook.
  • Control of customer accounts incl recons, statements, corrections incl report of overdue accounts to manager.
  • Control of supplier accounts incl recons, statements, corrections on discrepancies.
  • Weekly control of admin with regards to staff. (clock times, payments, leave, contracts)
  • Bank payments of creditors & wages.
  • Monthly reporting & payment of EMP
  • Vat recon on a 2 monthly basis
  • Yearly EMP recon documents to bookkeeper.
  • Processing and filing of blocktests
  • Capturing of customer orders and supplier orders
  • General office admin
  • Skills

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Data entry skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Produce work with a high level of accuracy
  • Professionalism and organization skills
  • Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Pastel, Abaserve ,payroll or other applications
