To enable the execution of the Logical Access Management (LAM) strategy for the Standard Bank Group (SBG) through the development and implementation of a Change Management plan including communication and learning plans to ensure that a culture of access control is embedded across SBG.

Develop and implement a learning plan and related content to ensure that all employees are aware of logical access management policies and processes to mitigate the risks associated with improper access.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain all LAM related training material in line with technology, policy or process changes across the various learning delivery modes to enable the delivery of effective LAM training.
  • Arrange and facilitate learning interventions on LAM using the various learning delivery methods and differentiate the interventions to meet the requirements of the target groups to ensure a consistent understanding and approach to LAM across all employees.
  • Develop and implement a change management strategy to support the access management culture change journey and to embed access management as a responsibility of all employees.
  • Develop and implement team effectiveness interventions across the LAM department and facilitate team building initiatives to enable a cohesive work relationship in order to seamlessly and quickly deliver optimal solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication plan in support of the change management strategy and ensure that all messaging regarding access management is standardised and aligned to the broader LAM strategy to ensure a consistent message to employees.
  • Analyse the organisational design strategy and draw insights on the impact of organisational and job architecture changes on access control and share the insight with the broader LAM team to ensure that the LAM strategy is appropriately aligned and that the physical and digital security of the organisation is maintained.
  • Risk, Regulatory, Prudential & Compliance

  • Review and direct queries received from LAM controllers across the business to the appropriate team member and monitor the resolution thereof to enable LAM controllers to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
  • Monitor and compile reports on the progress against the planned change journey in line with the Logical Access Management Strategy to enable the achievement of the LAM objectives in as per agreed time lines and other indicators.
  • Develop an understanding of skills and competencies required across the LAM environment, develop the competency framework and inform the development to enable to optimal functioning of the department.
  • Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly and ad hoc compliance reports for discussion at the relevant governance forums or for submission to the regulator as required and escalate findings for awareness and resolution by the relevant stakeholder.
  • Preferred Qualification and Experience Qualifications First Degree - Social Sciences Certification as a change practitioner e.

    g. Prosci, CCMP etc. Masters Degree Social Sciences Experience : Extensive experience in leading transformational change programmes that include culture, people and technology.

    12 years Experience Knowledge / Technical Skills / Expertise Knowledge : Access Control Systems Knowledge and understanding of the systems and processes in place to monitor and control building access.
