  • Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Conceptualizing, designing, and rolling out final design assets for digital, print and OOH marketing campaigns.
  • Branding CI design maintenance and enhancements.
  • UI / UX design and development of marketing landing pages.
  • Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
  • Reviewing final layouts with management and suggesting improvements if required
  • Liaising with external publishers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is produced to the highest quality.
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Website maintenance
  • Work with marketing manager to source high quality content for print and online publications.
  • Effectively manage multiple social media platforms
  • Writing clear, enticing copy for advertising campaigns (social media, brochures, press releases, websites, print, radio, etc.).
  • Create and maintain several content calendars, for all social networks.
  • Post relevant content in accordance with the content calendar.
  • Review and respond to user-generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner.
  • Develop and execute competitions.
  • Assist with conceptualisation and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with social media reporting.
  • Partake and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Assist the web and design teams with other day-to-day tasks.
  • Proofreading of work.
  • Attributes Required

  • Copywriting / communications Degree from a reputable institution and / or marketing / graphic design qualification
  • No less than 2 years’ experience in a creative agency (must have agency experience)
  • Exceptional grammar and spelling.
  • Proficient in social reporting tools and analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac OS
  • Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good listener, not afraid to ask questions if unsure.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Familiarity and acute understanding of different demographic markets in South Africa.
  • Experience with Financial Services Products and / or Political organisations would be advantageous.

  • Pixel perfect digital design
  • Fine art
  • Thorough understanding of branding
  • Excellent communication skills (English reading, writing, verbal)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Suite / Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator
  • Print media design and print file requirements (brochures, catalogues, posters, corporate stationery, etc.)
  • Gif animation
  • Photo retouching
  • Social media advertising and marketing design (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest post designs)
  • UX wireframe user journeys experience would be advantageous
  • Skills and experience with frontend web design (WordPress, HTML and CSS) advantageous
  • Salary : Market-related
