Talent Acquisition Specialist - DurbanIntroductionVodacom's No 1 dealer is in search of a talented, multi-skilled recruiter to join our dynamic team.

With 10 Retail stores located around the greater Durban area and one new recent expansion to Sandton JHB. We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition specialist with the ability to attract suitable candidates using various sources, tools and social media platforms.

The ideal talent specialist will have experience in placement screening, interviewing processes and character assessments whilst assisting our HR team in building a strong talent pipeline.

As a small business merging into medium and growing, we now require a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist with expertise to find the best talent when required.

This is a new position within the group as recruitment role is currently being fulfilled by the Director or Senior Management.

We require skills not just on acquisition but on developing recruitment processes to find the best talent which includes advert writing, screening processes and how to assess people.

Current group details : Retail sector - employeesHead Office - 20 employees10 seater Call Center - Opening May Mobile Fibre team ( 20 employee's) - Opening May Dedicated Enterprise Business Unit (10 employees) - Opening June Online store - End of Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure staffing goals are achieved within deadlinesDevelop and update job descriptions and job specificationsWriting of job ads and post jobs to appropriate job boards and social mediaEXPERTISE to source the best talent by using databases, social media etcAble to head hunt the best talented peopleScreen CV’s received according to the job specifications and agreed selection criteriaPerforming in-person and phone interviews with candidatesCo-ordinating interviews with the hiring personnelPerforming reference and background checksFollowing up on the interview process statusSchedule follow up interviewsDetail screening and back ground checkAdminister and facilitate any job-related testingRegret unsuccessful applicantsDesired Experience & Qualification10 years or more relevant (retail / call center) industry experienceExperience in using social media platforms external advertising resourcesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to build a structured talent acquisition department to meet deadlinesAbility to read body language and assess peopleSkills to head hunt dynamic individualsAble to do Psychometric evaluationSpecific Requirements : Clear health record.

Clear credit record.No criminal recordPrepared to work extra hours to ensure deadlines and building of departmentMust have code 8 license and be able to travel Working hours : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pmSaturday 8am to 1.

30pmAs a recruiter for a majority Retail work force this is not a typical admin job and requires you to be able to meet candidates after hours, over weekends or whenever they are available.

Package & RemunerationR to R12,.00 per month - Negotiable based on experienceIncentives to be added after 3 months of employmentRetirement Annuity and Medical Aid after 1 year of serviceCell phone and travel allowance
